Italy has been banned

The country of Italy has been banned(from the server) for massive abuse of the official server rules. After several warnings issued by me, majority of italian players of the server did not abide by the official rules, therefore i had no choice but to install a plugin that can ban the whole country.

The ban also affects Vatican City State and San Marino.

So I noticed a small dip in resources in my chests a little while ago...but today I came on and over half of the resources I've gathered (along with potions) are missing! Most of this (aside from diamond) is not that hard to replace but I don't want to have to go through the trouble of hiding my chests when I supposedly have them locked

Grief prevention

So i got griefed several times since i joined so... :L.
I don't really even know the rules but i asked and some players said griefing is not allowed.
Since there isn't a report section can there be one? <3.

BTW, i'm not sure if there is grief prevention plugin installed here but if there is then here: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/logblock/

It logs every block and can rollback griefs. Simple.

So if it's possible add a report section and logblock :/

Hey guys, i'm Dr1nKy and just want to say Hi .
I'm an experienced Mixed gamer who plays all kinds of games but Minecraft the most.
The reason i wanted to join is cause of an other server i played 2 years, i played there a lot, got 200+ posts on the forums, after my 400th post i got invited to become a moderator, after my 490th post, i got banned for an unknown reason, i messaged a manager and they said i gave away a command block even tho mods cant spawn them.
Later i made a ban appeal and here's my reply:

"You know that you can't spawn the block because you attempted to. The server logs every command and you did it via command. Denied."

Yes i attempted to, but i attempted to check if i have the /i command.

So here i am, i talked to my friend and i said: "Hey, let's find another server?"
I spend a hour searching a server similiar like this, a bit same ranks, i just hope the community of this server is good, yes, that one was good too, but i just hope the staff is not the same like there.

Just saying i spambotted them twice and they still dont know it was me, also got my first warning for:

Hi I play in this server by the minecraft 1.1 version... the server is good butat the firsts version it was better... let me ask some adds....
1 Sign shop for all players
2 Clearlagg must delete only items at floor, not the minecart!!!
3 Regenerate the nether! We need quartz for hopper and other.

I really love this server by a lot of time so i ask at the best server of ever ... please add the ours sign shops!!

[Suggestion] Remove Member Warps

So lately, a lot of members have been abusing /setwarp. For example, they set warps to random areas, just so they have a second home. (/warp Mine'splace, /warp nla6'place.) When I remove the unnecessary warps, they come back the next day!

Bottom Line: Unranked members should no longer have access to /setwarp, and make it so it is another donator privilege again. Do you agree? Comment below.

Yeah, I is back. Sorry for not coming on for a looonnnggg time. I had a lot of urgent assignments to do for homework (and I still do but not as much.) The reason why is was M.I.A was because after some time, Minecraft started to get really boring so I had to stop playing it for a while. Well that is it. :>

Hi, so I noticed about this plugin that Antonio installed 1 month a go or so. The plugin basically kicks a person with a 500 ping or higher, this helps the server not lag. Well I noticed something really funny though, when you get kicked you lagg, when you are trying to break it just won't break and you get kicked right after. It didn't change anything, what it did change was the amount of people who use to go on. So many people dislike this in fact everyone does, I haven't seen any one say they like this plugin in fact the opposite.

There's no point of having this plugin Antonio, we want you remove it, the community does.
I'll ask each and every person on the server, if they like this plugin or not and trust me they well just say No. We had enough of it, this problem leads to multiple problems. I can show you how.
1. Since the plugin was installed we lost many players, because they got annoyed of the plugin, I mean seriously no one. Just No one wants to be kicked every 10 seconds.
2. Because of this plugin, the moderator my fellow friend ember can't get on, due to the plugin.
3. Since there's no one to moderate the server since the moderator cant't get on, we have more problems and there's no one who we can complain too.
4. This gives the server a bed reputation, people tell their friends how this server has this kicking problem and they tell other people this way we don't get many people on.

This plugin didn't help us, it didn't help the server and it didn't help you. We have Clear lag, we don't need this plugin, I can give you a better plugin than this, which won't kick people every 10 seconds.

I don't know if you can see this but your server is dying, we are trying to keep it alive, indeed I'm. Making trailers, telling friends, telling them to donate, advertising. But if you're going to be stubborn about it then I guess I don't need to do this. There's no point, you're not making this any better. Just remove the plugin the whole community wants you to delete it, please.

Moderator Discussion

Hey, guys so basically I decided to make this topic for 2 reasons, I saw 2-3 posts about moderators and griefing issues. Now let me tell you this, if you're going to make a thread about Moderator and say "Hey my name i bob and i want to be a mod, plz rank me up". That is not going to get you anywhere, not because of your not well-written sentence, but because you asked. I highly believe asking for ranks is the wrong way to get it, you're not going to get it. It's like asking your parents for a expensive toy when you were 4 years old, they will most likely say no.

If you have posts that are regarding moderators, saying we need more moderators then I think you should have something that will convince Antonio. Because of most of them might get removed, because there is no need for more moderators. Now I'm not sure about that, we have too much problems, I can simply tell you the issues that get pointed out plenty of times and they have. Indeed they have, griefing, swearing, racism and hacking has been a problem.

We have 2 staff members moderating the server, but perhaps they're not active and when I say that I mean it. They're not on the servers helping people, these does effect the server. We do lose members this way, because they get annoyed of the stupidity of griefers, and 10 years old bugging them. Yes we don't need more staff because they're only 20 spots but these server does grow, though we have a lot of members quitting/leaving because of this issues. But we also have a lot of people coming, every now and then. If staff members aren't active on minecraft, we report to the ban appeal if we have a problem , now I have noticed and the staff is not even active on the forums.
I agree they have some other stuff to do rather than playing games but they should visit or check the forums at least 5 times a week, these helps the people if they have any issues, questions or problems.

This community gets tired of bringing same topics but what else can they do? They get tired too but these problem don't seem to end and I don't think they can if it continues to go like this.

Antonio won't make anyone mod, admin or op them just like that.
He need skillful, mature, friendly, intelligent , experienced and someone who has done something to server. Someone who has been around for a long time, and knows most of the members. Has good reputation and known in the community.
If you don't have this don't make a thread about asking for mods, it will get removed.

Griefing will still be a problem it's like lagg, it would always come back but we can try to prevent it from happening a lot.

Minecraft 2.0 is nearly upon us...

We have waited for it, the official release of Minecraft 2, just two months away..

Whilst based off the original Minecraft engine, this new version completely overhauls major parts of the game and contains many weeks worth of new content and blocks. Currently in closed beta stage, we have secretly been working with a select few members of the community to participate and trial run some specific features from the new version."

This is gonna be the biggest update in history. So many things will be added. So many things will be removed. So many bugs will be fixed. I gurentee you this is not the Minecraft you know, but it is inevitable and amazing. Here's a list of the added:
Gameplay

Added new Super Hostile game mode, for a much more challenging Survival experience.
Difficulty setting is now per-world and may never be changed once set.
Added new graphics setting “Ultra Realistic” with new patent-pending experimental 4D-rendering.
Added new chase-style 3D camera perspective.
Animals

Added new realistic food/hunger system to animals.
Overfeeding animals may have a negative effect on gameplay.
Added a new “Horse” animal, with two different breeds to choose from.
Each animal now has a gender and personality, introducing new farming mechanics.
Added a new rare breed of chicken known as a “Diamond Chicken”.
May lay diamonds or lapis instead of laying eggs.
May also blow up from too much pressure. Handle with care.
Added new friendly Pink Wither, which is the complete opposite of a wither.
Shoots out Love, which heals the nearby land and causes things to grow faster.
Known bug: Having both a Pink Wither and a Wither in your world at the same time may cause up to a 200% increase in framerate. Will be fixed for launch.
All animals may be fed Golden Apples to unleash their hidden magical properties (see new Magic section).
Chickens are now classified as a Monster and are no longer a friendly Animal.
Monsters

Chickens do not appreciate being looked at and may get upset.
Attacking a lone chicken may summon additional chickens to its defense.
Zombie Pigmen now spawn with battlesigns and no longer use swords.
Fixed a bug causing Skeletons to miss their targets on occasion.
Added new Redstone Bug monster (see Redstone section).
Blocks

Furnaces have a new “heat” mechanic.
Heat needs to be regulated in furnaces or they will blow up.
Torches now burn out after a period of time, but may be relit with flint and steel.
Added new TNT slab, known as an Etho Slab.
Renamed Droppers to floppers, by popular community demand.
Droppers were deemed too powerful and go against our original vision of the game.
Floppers now turn everything that passes through them into raw fish (see Fishing section).
Added six (6) new decoration blocks:
Mud.
Hay bales.
Lapis Lazuli.

Added new compressed storage blocks for commonly mined ores:

Redstone

Removed all BUD behaviour, and added safeguards so that it may never come back.
Made redstone bugs spawn actual Redstone Bugs to assist with debugging.
Added new Quantum Entangled redstone, obtained by mixing 1 redstone, 1 diamond and 3 lapis.
One entangled redstone dust will connect to another pair elsewhere.
No current way of specifying the connection, may in fact connect to another player’s world.
Added new BUD blocks.
Magic

Added new Magic and Luck levels per player.
Finding a Rainbow after rain passes will be the primary way of obtaining Magic.
Finding a green-tinted horse will be the primary way of obtaining Luck.
Added new spell system, costing magic to perform a spell.
Spells may backfire, depending on Luck.
Examples of new spells include:
Turn any item into Fish.
Turn current biome into another biome (bug: currently only turns into ocean).
Ability to remove gravity from other creatures/players in the world.
Fishing

Overhauled fishing mechanics.
New special types of fish may be found in various different biomes.
Fish may become scared if too much noise is made nearby.
Added 28 new achievements for fishing.
Rare chance for extra items to drop when fishing, such as armor and maps.
Removed fishing.
Having a fish in your possession will drain your health by 1 each second, to help phase out fishing.
Combat

Removed crossbows.
To deter cheating players on PvP servers, the PvP system has been completely redesigned.
Players may no longer attack other players directly, but must recruit an army of Monsters and Animals.
Each monster/animal has different strengths, weaknesses and abilities whilst attacking or defending in PvP combat.
New turn-based combat system will help create epic battles that may last hours at a time.
World generation & terrain

Added many new mysterious adventuring locations.
Added 6 new biomes.
Reimplemented the Farlands.
Going near the farlands will forcefully enable 3d anaglyph.
Known bug: Teleporting towards the farlands may send you half way in the opposite direction.
Added dozens of new village building templates.
Flattened all terrain out slightly, with the exception of the hills biome to make it seem bigger by contrast.
Added floating sky.

Minecraft will be changed beautifully. But, before Minecraft is completely transformed, I want you to click on the "We" at the beggining of this thread.

[Suggestion] New Moderators

Hey guys, its Jack, and I think we need a new Moderator. This issue has come up a couple of times in threads and the Shout Box, but I think it is important.

According to Antonio, it is necessary to have about 2 Mods on the server. Currently, they are Antonio and TheEmbernova. TheEmbernova is a great Mod, but he has one problem: Inactivity. According to him, some issues came up IRL, so he can't Moderate as often. I have mentioned this before, also mentioning that Antonio is slightly inactive. His response was that he was on every day. However, being in a different time zone, it is a lot harder to Moderate a server which has members from a different Timezone. Therefore, when it's 5:12 P.M here, and Antonio is asleep, I see a lot more spammers and I get griefed more. That's why we need a Moderator from the West Coast to keep an eye on the server, when Antonio is asleep.

The other question is, who would this Mod be? I do not know. Probably someone who has helped the server many times, has never broken any rules, reports players, can Moderate when Antonio is not, and will not abuse.

Though Antonio might deny this suggestion, and maybe close the thread, I would like him to consider the following stated above, for I really think this is I,portent request. Do you agree? Comment below.
